6 bizarre foods that make you sick



1. Fried tarantulas in Cambodia 

In Skoun district in Cambodia, tarantula spiders are fried whole and eaten with relish. The dish was invented during the regime of the Khmer Rough, people were forced to starve to death. The dish invented under circumstances, but today it becomes a tourist attrraction. People visiting Skuon from far and wide to taste this frightening delicacy. 



2. Live octopus in Korea

In Korea, it's called "sannakji" a live octopus that has prepared a served with its arms still moving. the sensation of the still active suction cups on the octopus's arms as they stick to the mouth and try to climb back up in your throat.


                                  

3. Snake and Scorpion wine in Vietnam 

A village in Vietnam, is making snake and scorpion wine. Snake and scorpion wines are known as a natural medicine used to treat health problems such as back pain, rheumatism, lumbago and other health  conditions. 


                            
                           
4. Monkey brain in China 

In China, eating monkey brains can cure impotence and has, in part, led to over-hunting of monkey in. It's rumored that the monkey's brains are eaten while its alive, which is the reason why many people see this as inhumane and controversial.


                                   

5. Balut in Philippines 

In Philippines, balut is most notorious street food. It's a duck egg that's intentionally unpasteurized to create a fertilized embryo inside it. You can taste a near fully formed chick if you are lucky.

                             

6. Baby mice in Korea

In Korea, baby mice wine is a traditional Korean "health tonic" taste like raw gasoline. Little mice, eyes still closed, are plucked from the embrace of their loving mothers and stuffed (while still alive) into a  bottle of rice wine.
